The MangoPost team, a premier production house in Chennai, recognized that their existing brand identity no longer mirrored their evolving personality or core values. Having collaborated with major directors and global platforms like Netflix and Hotstar, they required a modern identity to match their rapid growth and youthful, new-age resonance. The goal was to create a visually rich strategy that balanced professional stature with a deep-rooted connection to cinema. We aimed for a logomark to serve as a conceptual anchor, ensuring their high-quality media offering remains seamless and striking across all digital and print applications.
The Idea
We distilled the complexity of filmmaking into the concept of "Padam Pottu Kaatuvom," signifying both a mastery of craft and the enchanting visual format through which MangoPost creates its striking work. The design uses a simple rectangular box to symbolize the universal screen - from theaters to mobile landscape modes - where every story ultimately finds life. By integrating the letter 'M' to represent an ultra-wide display, the logo captures a broader perspective on life through a dynamic, colorful mnemonic. This vibrant identity, extended into a comprehensive brand book, reflects a commitment to craftsmanship and the energetic spirit of modern storytelling.
